Claudia Quintanilla and I are so excited to open our Pura Vida Knitting Retreats for bookings! We have both been dreaming of bringing small groups of knitters together to forge closer connections and share our love and excitement about our craft – Knitting. It’s finally happening, and we’d love to welcome you next February 2025.

Nestled in the heart of Central America, Costa Rica is a treasure trove of natural wonders, making it the perfect location for a mid-winter knitting retreat. Imagine escaping the winter blues and being surrounded by lush rainforests with diverse wildlife, pristine beaches, and majestic volcanoes.

We’ll be staying at the world-class Parador Nature Resort & Spa which offers unparalleled leisure and dining experiences and the most stunning view over the Pacific Ocean.
It’s the perfect setting to bring knitters together for both relaxation and meaningful connections, all while sharing our mutual passion for knitting.

For all the workshops, there will be one teacher and three skilled assistants to help you, ensuring personalized guidance tailored to individual learning speeds. We’ll be learning some great new techniques to embellish your knits by exploring the techniques used in Claudia’s upcoming book (published by Laine Publishing). Of course, a signed copy of the book will be included in every guest’s gift bag, along with an exclusive new Pura Vida design and the yarn to knit it! (and more goodies as well).
